This weekend was held the second round of the Southern Regional Series at Slough. The series brought nearly 100 drivers to the event, because of this there was only a bolt-on practise round for the drivers and with many having not driven on the track since the last national in 2016 it was a steep learning curve for most. In truck after 3 rounds of qualification, Jon “Nemo Racing” Hazlewood took a commanding TQ with his teammate Michael Shorey in 2nd.
The Truck A final was up first and as the buzzer went Jon Hazlewood stormed his Bullitt powered Agama round the first corner and into the distance, his Truck was on another level and it grew quite a crowd of people watching it poise and precision as it went around untouched for the 20 minute final. He brought it home in 1st place a lap up on the 2nd place driver. James Tatlow also had a great final allowing him to take the final podium position.
